Have you ever measured your self-awareness?
The answer must be no or I can say you don't even know how to measure your self-awareness.
Let me clear it up with an example
You have seen or heard that a student who studied for 6 hours till he achieves only 40% but a student who studied only 2 hours and he still manage to achieve 90%. How he achieves those marks.
And even you have seen that in your office you were preparing for a presentation for the last 3 months and your colleague doesn't prepare enough for that presentation still he manage to take the reward. How did he do that?
Increase your self-awareness.
The answer is simple they have developed their self-awareness.
Self-awareness is something that can be achieved by anyone. You don't need to have any special skills.
You will always come to hear that from your parents, teachers or your boss where you work they usually say that concentrate on your study or work.
But no one will teach you how to concentrate. You have studied in school, collages. School or college will never be taught you how to increase your self-awareness.
Benefits of increasing self-awareness
If we can gain 10% of self-awareness I guaranteed you will never fail and you will become a successful person.
Generally, we all eat 3 times a day. But how much of you chew for at least 30 times. From now start chewing for at least 30 times.
What is the benefit of chewing food for 30 times?
While we are eating we usually watch television or busy on our phones. Or you are on thinking of another thought. We never enjoy the food that we eat. So when you will chew it for 30 times you will definitely increase your self-awareness.
Tools to increase your self-awareness.
In starting phase you will need tools to increase your self-awareness. If you practice it for at least 1 month I guarantee you your self-awareness will be at a great level.
Suppose you are climbing stairs at that moment climbing stairs is only important to you not thinking about your office thinking of something else might lead you to fell from stairs and lead you to injure yourself.
1. Take a deep breath - Self-awareness
Do you know that our mind and body are connected by our breathing? If we don't breathe your body is nothing but like a dead body and we can't listen to our brain.
Before starting any work take a deep breath. This deep breath will make you come back in that particular and will increase your self-awareness.
When you will be at that moment you will be able to see all the things that you missed earlier when you were not aware.
Just practices for 1 month and after that you will be able to increase your self-awareness.
Suppose any one of you were going to an interview just be aware of what you see or what you hear. I guarantee your chance for qualifying the interview will increase and you will be more confident of answering the questions asked by you.
2. If you forget the tools - Self-awareness
